Blaze

This is Blaze

Blaze was a neutered male Papillon and came to us at 2.5 years old. He was about 15 inches tall and quite overweight !

Blaze came to us via Papillon Rescue, having been badly mistreated, he had been made to live in an outside shed and yard in all weathers and been neglected

The Pap Rescue lady reckoned he'd not been brushed for about 2 years, he had to have loads of his hair either cut or shaved off because it was so badly matted.

He also had the worst case of fleas that the lady had seen in many, many years

Unfortunately after he had settled in it became apparant that he was not a stable dog, presumably due to his past life. We tried a variety of hopeful solutions to help him but due to him biting everyone in the house he the only thing to do was to return him to Pap rescue

Luckily there is a Pap lady in Cornwall who deals with problem cases. She took him in for a while before rehoming him with an older lady where he's the only dog in the household. She has continued to do agility with him (which we had started to train him in) and he's getting along well now
